From being a student of Biochemistry, Angellica Aribam went on to study law in Delhi's University's Faculty of Law where she became active in student politics. In March 2016, she was appointed national general secretary of the NSUI. She then moved to China in August 2017 to study public policy at Peking University. Currently, she is part of the Vital Voices Fellowship, which aims to mentor and nurture women political leaders across the world.
