Ethiopia is home to numerous tribes and more than 80 different ethnic groups.
The Omo River in southwest Ethiopia is home to eight different tribes. They comprise around 2,00,000 people. This beautiful landscape boasts of diverse ecosystems that include grasslands, volcanic outcrops and one of the few pristine “riverine” forests that supports a wide range of wildlife.
The tribes that live here are still untouched by the pressures and changes of the modern world. Their jewellery, customs and traditions are visible for all to see.
