Students across the country have taken over campuses protesting in solidarity with Jamia and AMU
The walls of Jamia Millia Islamia have been hearing calls for protest for a few days now.
The peaceful student protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill took a violent turn yesterday evening with Delhi Police barging into the college, using batons and tear gas and detaining around 100 students. The brutal incident of Jamia has left the entire nation in distress.
Students from various colleges and universities across the country have taken over campuses protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Bill and standing with the students of Jamia and AMU.
Silent March by students at IIT Bombay
On Sunday evening, the students at IIT Mumbai carried out a silent march in solidarity with the students of Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University. They also protested against the police clampdown and brutality that took place in the North East.

Boycott by students of Delhi University
The students at the Delhi University boycotted their exams on Monday to show support to the students of Jamia and Aligarh Muslim University. Heavy force has been deployed at the arts faculty of the university, and students are protesting demanding that the police go back.
