'Sooryavanshi' to release on March 24, first to be screened 24x7 in Mumbai theatres
Following Maharashtra government's decision, Sooryavanshi would be the first film to take advantage of the round the clock movie screening in Mumbai.
Aa Rahi Hai Police!
If the hype around the first cop universe of India wasn't enough already, team Sooryavanshi and Rohit Shetty dropped a surprise teaser announcing that the film starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be released three days earlier on March 24.
This decison of shifting the release date has largely to do with Maharashtra government's decision to allow theatres to operate round-the-clock in the city. So releasing the star-vehicle three days earlier means a way larger window for the film to register a big opening weekend on the box office.
The state government had last month cleared a proposal to allows shops, eateries and theatres in malls to remain open day and night.
The film will now hit the theatres on March 24, instead of its earlier release date of March 27.
"India's First Cop Universe... A new release day - Not Friday...but Tuesday

"With 'Sooryavanshi' Mumbai theatres will be up and running , 24 x 7... AA RAHI HAI POLICE, 24th March 2020 Evening 6pm Onwards...#sooryavanshion24thmarch" Rohit posted on Instagram alongside a teaser that also features Ajay and Ranveer.
