Watch: Samsung’s Galaxy A90 Expected To Come With A Multi-Purpose Rotating Camera
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A90 on April 10.
Samsung teased an event that is supposed to take place on the 10th of April. The company is expected to launch the Galaxy A90 during this showcase. As most leaks suggest, the smartphone is expected to come with a full-screen (bezel-less) display and is expected to be a premium device. An Asphalt 9 advert on Samsung’s website listed the the "Ultimate Gaming Devices' along with the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+, Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S5e which suggests that the Galaxy A90 will be a powerful device with top-notch software. This obviously pushes the device into a premium segment.
Samsung might launch a few other devices along with the Samsung Galaxy A90 as well.
A new render video by Waqar Khan, gives us a fair idea of what the Samsung Galaxy A90 might look like. In the video, the smartphone is shown to have a sliding and rotating camera, along with a full-infinity display. The video also shows the device with a rear camera that slides up and rotates to become the front camera. This new feature, where the rear camera rotates to become the front, has never been seen on any devices before. We have seen pop-up cameras and display embedded shooters but this is a unique way to use a single camera as both the front and rear camera. Talk about revolutionary tech.
We will have to wait for the device to launch to really see how this design has been implemented. Until then, you can watch the render video here and let us know what you think about the device in the comments below:
