Rajasthan youth arrested for posing as Amit Shah’s personal secretary
Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has nabbed a 25-year-old man who was posing as the personal secretary of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The accused, who had lost his job during the COVID-19 outbreak, was calling Haryana and Rajasthan ministers to get someone employed.
The Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly posing as the personal secretary of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The man arrested by the Delhi Police has been identified as Sandeep Choudhary – a resident of Rajasthan’s Alwar district’s Teh Mundawar.
The accused was calling the labour ministers of Rajasthan and Haryana posing as the personal secretary of the Union Home Minister.
He was calling the ministers of two states to get someone employed, Delhi Police officials said on Thursday.
Choudhary was arrested after the Crime Branch registered a case based on a complaint lodged by the Union Home Ministry, police said. According to the complaint, a man posing as a personal secretary of Shah had called up the labour ministers of Haryana and Rajasthan to get somebody employed.
He was nabbed from Rajasthan’s Alwar district.
As per the police investigation, Choudhary was employed with a private company in Haryana’s Gurugram and had lost his job during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Choudhary called Rajasthan labour minister Tikaram Jully and posed as a personal secretary of the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union Home Minister. He made a similar call to Haryana’s labour minister Anup Dhanak and tried to get someone employed.
