India withdraws Most Favoured Nation status to Pakistan.
India has withdrawn the Most Favoured Nation status to Pakistan in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror strike that killed about 40 CRPF men. The government has also said that those behind this attack will not be spared.
On Thursday, February 14, an explosives-laden vehicle, driven by a Jaish-e-Mohammad operative, rammed into a bus carrying CRPF personnel. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ministers in the central government and political leaders across the political spectrum condemned the attack.
IDSA anti-insurgency expert Vivek Chadha shared his views on the tragedy with Asiaville News.
