If you know me, you know there are two things I absolutely love - hand written notes (giving and receiving them), and collecting books...I suppose writing them now, too. Reading and writing have always played an important role in my life...they directly link me to being a creative person, and that’s why partnering with @PilotPenUSA made sense. Through their annual G2 Overachievers Grant and G2 Overachievers Student Grant, Pilot gives out over $100,000 to exceptional individuals who go above and beyond their everyday lives and responsibilities to give back to their communities, and improve the lives of others. I’m honored to be helping select the recipients for 2019, so whether it’s you or someone you know, send me your hand written submission by visiting G2Overachievers.com for full details ???? #PowerToThePen #DoYouG2
Both Priyanka Chopra and Virat Kohli have a whopping number of followers on all of their social media platforms; and their numbers continue to go up with each passing day on Instagram, a popular photo and video-sharing social networking site. With a following of millions of people across the world, Priyanka Chopra and Virat Kohli have a reach and an unrivalled level of influence that almost every brand wishes to tap into. Priyanka and Virat boast 43.4 million followers and 38.4 million followers, respectively. And it’s this reason that countless companies pitch the actress-producer and cricketer deals that come with a rather hefty price tag.
UK-based Hopper HQ compiled the annual Instagram Rich List for this year by using internal data, reaching out to celebrity reps and referencing publicly-available information to list the people who were earning the most through Instagram. After their research, Hopper HQ revealed that Priyanka Chopra and Virat Kohli were the two Indians who made the most money per Instagram post. With $2,71,000 (approximately Rs 1.87 crores) for a sponsored post, Priyanka Chopra is 19th on the list; while Virat Kohli, who charges $1,96,000 (approximately Rs 1.35 crores), is 23rd. You may have spotted some of their advertised posts if you follow Priyanka or Virat on Instagram. And now know just how much a single sponsored post on Priyanka and Virat’s Instagram accounts is estimated to cost.
I had so much fun building a wedding registry guide with @amazon. They have everything that you need in one place! Amazon has also made a $100,000 donation to UNICEF, a charity that is extremely important to me!!! If you’ve been following the whirlwind romance and wedding celebrations of Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas, you would have noticed the abundance of sponsored content they’ve been posting on social media (it’s kind of hard not to). From Nick’s bachelor party with Elit vodka to their Amazon wedding registry, the couple went hard on the brand deals and seemingly made a lot of money before, and after their December 2018 wedding at Umaid Palace Hotel, Jodhpur. According to E! News, Nick’s bachelor and Priyanka’s bachelorette parties took #spon to a new level, with Priyanka posting ads from Longchamp, Tiffany, and JBL Audio, while Nick advertised Elit Vodka, Lime Bike (who made custom scooters for all of his groomsmen) and Malibu Rum. The peak came for the wedding registry though, when Priyanka posted a link to her Amazon gift guide for ‘wedding registry inspo’ claiming she built her entire registry with the site and in return, they donated $100,000 to UNICEF. Overall, the gift guide amounted to over $14,000 – although the Quantico actress didn’t say whether all of the products were gifted to her or whether it was her actual registry that her celebrity friends and family used to buy the couple’s wedding presents.

We could stop there, but Hopper HQ's Instagram Rich List 2019 ranked 100 Instagram users and social media stars by influencer category, such as celebrity, beauty, fashion, fitness, and by location, how many followers they have, and by how much they earn per sponsored post. Although footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is the most followed person on Instagram with 177 million followers, he’s not actually the highest-paid Instagram user. That honour goes to Kylie Jenner, who makes $1.266 million (approximately Rs 8.74 crores) per Instagram post – up from her estimated cost last year of $1 million (approximately Rs 6.9 crores). The Instagram Rich List 2019 has been topped by the American TV personality and businesswoman, who is the youngest and richest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. In comparison, Kylie's step-sister, reality TV star Kim Kardashian came in at fourth place, earning $910,000 (approximately Rs 6.3 crores) per Instagram post. Either way, it’s an incredible amount of money to post a selfie with the caption "what we really do in the restroom."
American singer Ariana Grande seems set to purchase more than just seven rings this year, as Hopper HQ also revealed she had “joined the list for the first time” – sliding swiftly into second place with $996,000 (approximately Rs 6.8 crores) per post. Although Ariana has 19 million more followers than Kylie Jenner (Ariana has 160 million, while Jenner has 141 million), Hopper HQ says the data collected "considers factors such as average engagement, how often they post, industry variables and number of followers." Other names on the Instagram Rich List 2019 were similar to the names on the 2018 list, including footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who commands $975,000 (approximately Rs 6.7 crores) per Instagram post. Priyanka Chopra and Virat Kohli are the only Indians in the top 25 overall list.
