Pamela Anderson gets married for the fifth time
Pamela Anderson married film producer Jon Peters in a private ceremony on Monday. The couple first dated 30 years ago.
Former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson, 52, got married for the fifth time, and this time to her old love - film producer Jon Peters, 72. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Malibu on Monday, more than 30 years after they first dated.
The two started seeing each other after they met at the Playboy Mansion in the mid-1980s, but eventually grew apart until recently.
Talking about Pamela and their rekindled romance, Jon told The Hollywood Reporter: "There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but - for 35 years - I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild - in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated."
On Jon, Pamela said: "His life used to scare me. So much for a girl like me. Now I've seen more of life and realize. He's been there all along."
This wedding marks the fifth time for both Pamela and Jon. Anderson was previously married to rockers Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. She twice married professional poker player Rick Salomon. Most recently she was in a relationship with French footballer Adil Rami, with whom she lived in France.
Meanwhile, producer Jon was last married to film producer Mindy Peters. The two divorced in 2004. Previously, he was also married to producer Christine Forsyth-Peters, actress Lesley Warren and Henrietta Zampitella.
Though Pamela Anderson is yet to announce her wedding on her social media, she did Instagram a series of black-and-white portraits of herself with love-quote captions on Monday.
