MV Agusta launches three motorcycles in India

MV Agusta, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has launched three motorcycles under its Dragster series in India. The three bikes are Dragster 800 RR, Dragster 800 RR America and the Dragster 800 RR Pirelli. All the bikes are modelled on the popular dragster the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR provided by the company. MV Agusta is known for making aesthetically beautiful bikes and has 'Motorcycle Art’ as their tag line.
These streetfighters are powered by the same 798cc, three-cylinder DOHC motor seen on the Brutale 800RR. The engine produces 138bhp at 12,300rpm and 87Nm of torque at 10,100rpm. The company has provided twin 320 mm discs at the front and a single 220 mm disc at the rear, aided with Brembo callipers on both the ends. The brake also comes with the Bosch 9 Plus ABS unit.
The suspension on the bikes is handled by 43 mm Marzocchi USD forks at the front and Sachs monoshock at the rear. Other features include Rear-Lift Mitigation (RLM) and a two-way MV EAS 2.0 quick shifter.
The company’s flagship, the Dragster 800 RR Pirelli, comes with a tank and fairing composed of rubber developed with the help of Pirelli's research and development team. The rubber finish on the bike provides tolerance to scratches and damages caused due to rubbing.
Both the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR and Dragster 800 RR America are priced at Rs 18.73 lakh (Ex-showroom) in India. The bike is available in four colour variants including matte black, Pirelli yellow, ice pear, and American blue.
The Dragster 800 RR features an integrated light guide and a tail-lamp that sticks at the rear in a single unit. The Dragster 800 RR will be available in two colour variants - ice pear white with matte grey and nardo grey with matte grey. These same colour schemes are also available on the Dragster 800 RR America.
