Three pointer specialist Brook Lopez scored a career high playoff score as the Milwaukee Bucks edged past the Toronto Raptors in the series opener of the Eastern Conference finals. The Milwaukee Bucks’ inventive play in the final quarter earned them their first win in the seven game series.

Kawhi Leonard in Terrific Form
Leonard scored a massive 31points including 9 rebounds and 2 assists, yet ended up on the losing side. Breaking records for Leonard was as easy as swallowing cheese, and he created one on Wednesday night. He has consistently scored 20 points or more in ten consecutive games, etching his name in the Raptors’ history books.

Milwaukee Bucks on Top Form
The Bucks were the first team to enter the NBA Conference Finals. They carried the same momentum into the opening game of the Eastern Conference finals. Though they struggled in the first half, they recovered in the second period.
Credits to some jaw-dropping three pointers from Brook Lopez. In addition, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s swirling floaters came in real handy in levelling the score line, mid-way through the third quarter. They scored a thumping 44 points in the paint, the majority of them coming in the final quarter. The fourth quarter was the turning point of the game, as the Bucks secured 32 points compared to the Raptors 17 points.
Raptors Blunder in the Final Quarter
Despite leading in the first half, the Raptors could not contain the opposition’s attack in the last two quarters. The contest was neck-to-neck, with the Bucks gaining a four point lead in the third quarter. After that, the Raptors defence was breached by their shooting guard and three pointer specialists, Giannis and Lopez respectively. In spite of getting off to a flying start, the Raptors surrendered in the final quarter with the score line ending 100-108.
