Microsoft may release an Xbox controller to help blind people play video games
The new controller, patented by Xbox, might not be an exact replica of the patented version but will feature Braille controls. The patent has been published by the United States Patent Application Publication.
Gaming is a hobby that is worth 137 billion dollars. It has beaten out Hollywood and the like to rise to the top of the entertainment heap. But, if someone has physical disabilities such as blindness, they might not be able to enjoy the hobby to its fullest extent. Microsoft seems to be looking for a solution to fix this massive problem. Yes, the US based company has filed a patent for a joystick/controller that will help visually impaired people to play and enjoy video games.
