Watch: Indian researcher shares her experience of living in Wuhan amid COVID-19 pandemic
When Anila P Ajayan joined as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Wuhan, China, in September, it was a dream come true for her. But just over three months later, the city became the epicenter of the COVID-19 global pandemic. She and her colleagues had to confine themselves within the boundaries of the institute for the next three moths. Anila did get chances to return to India. But she decided to stay back as she did not want to be a carrier of the virus back to her country. Now, as the city inches back to normalcy, she shares her experience.
