Know Your Rights: Under Arrest

In the first episode of ‘Know Your Rights’, we discuss the rights duly provided to citizens by law in cases of a police search and arrest of a female offender, highlighting the circumstances in which a woman can deny being arrested. 

Know Your Rights is an Asiaville series that elucidates the various legal rights of citizens in the democracy that India is. 

Though we are just a click away from almost every bit of essential information, we often fail to know the rights we have as citizens of the country. While knowing all of them could be a long shot, there are some we just can’t afford to not know about.
