IIT JEE Advanced 2019 results out, know the toppers
Chandresh Kartikey Gupta of Ballarpur is the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Advanced) 2019. Himanshu Gaurav Singh, Pradipta Parag Bora, Dhruv Arora, Gudipaty Aniket, Gillella Akash Reddy and Jayesh Singla are the zonal toppers.
IIT Roorkee has released the results of IIT JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced is the second stage of the engineering entrance exams for admission in premier education institutes such as Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc), etc.
This year Maharashtra's Kartikey Gupta has topped the JEE Advanced exam. According to some news reports, Gupta was a student of Kota's Allen coaching institute.
The official press release by the organising chairman, JEE Advanced, 2019, is as follows:
"A total number of 161319 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2019. A total of 38705 candidates have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2019. Of the total qualified candidates, 5356 are females. Mr. Gupta Kartikey Chandresh of Ballarpur is the top ranker in Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Advanced) 2019."

IIT Roorkee conducted the advanced exam on May 27 in the computer-based test format. The answer key was released on June 04 and the last day to register any objections was June 06.
