As the governments across the globe take unprecedented measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic, here’s how the famous tourist spots that were once seen bustling with people, look now.
The outbreak of the deadly novel coronavirus had led to the emptying of public spaces such as tourist attractions, museums, churches and landmarks across the world. There have been more than 181,500 cases of coronavirus worldwide, with over 7,100 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University in the US, which is tracking cases reported by the World Health Organization and additional sources.
