How to watch live NASA coverage for next space station crew launch
The launch will start at 3:14pm EDT (12:44am IST).
NASA is sending three people to its International Space Station (ISS) on March 14. The mission, called Expedition 59, will take two American astronauts and a Russian cosmonaut to the space station. The crew members will join the current team of three astronauts in the ISS after the successful docking of the spacecraft. Christina Koch of NASA, Alexey Ovchinin of Roscosmos and Nick Hague of NASA will be the members travelling to the ISS.
The duration of the mission is six and half months. Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft will carry the crew members to the ISS from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The live feed of the launch can be watched on the link provided below:
After its launch, the spacecraft, Soyuz MS-12, will undertake a journey of six hours to reach the ISS. The docking can also be watched live at 09:07PM EDT. The hatch opening and welcome coverage will happen at 10:30 pm EDT.
