Hina Jaiswal becomes Indian Air Force's first woman engineer
Since 1993, the Indian Air Force has been taking measures to make the team more gender inclusive.
Flight Lieutenant Hina Jaiswal is Indian Air Force’s first woman engineer.
She has successfully completed the course at 112 Helicopter Unit at Yelahanka, Karnataka.
Hina Jaiswal is from Chandigarh and has completed her B.E. from Punjab University.
She described her achievement as a “dream come true”.
The Indian Air Force is getting more gender inclusive. Women are being commissioned in the officer cadre and inducted as pilots.
The IAF remarked that Hina has created history.
