Hardeep Singh Puri gets slammed for "Saala Congressi" dig
It all started with Puri sharing a picture of a nameplate with "Saala Congressi" written on it.
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri's attempt to troll Congress seems to have backfired as many social media users accused him of using uncivil language to target opponents.

This is what they call a 'Conference Room' in Italian.

Interestingly, it also has its back against the wall! pic.twitter.com/30L0TpWCdV
This not-so-subtle humor did not go down well with the people as they criticised the former career diplomat for being 'indecent' and 'petty'.
Something to do with the ecosystem you are working in? It brings out the worst in an educated person like you. And imagine, an erudite man like @rahuldev2 applauding such undignified tweet. Very disappointing Mr Puri https://t.co/2NKURz3uQ2

Cheap joke. Cheap shot. Doesn’t suit your position sir

indian culture welcomes plurality of thoughts and ideas. I am sure you believe that the idea of India is not that of a bully. And before you play whataboutery - aren't you the better, decent and the more Indian people?

Bullying your opponent?
Decency? Class? Shame?
Sir, you are a Union Minister and have been a diplomat as well. Unfortunate that a person at such a position will share this on public platform. Please set standards of your office. Best wishes!

I am shocked and really disappointed to see this tweet from you of all the people. Is this what you need to do to prove your loyalty? I thought you were a well bred diplomat who is now a minister and you would set an example of good conduct for the rest to follow. How déclassé

With due reapect, Its very distasteful sir and an unbecoming of a former diplomat as well as a current union minister.

But Puri found some support too, with many claiming that the tweet was humorous and should have been taken in a humorous sense.
I just don't understand what happening to people India these days..

People ,why you have stopped understanding the Good sense of humour?
Why you behaving like frustrated mass?
This is just a healthy joke from a Human Being.
So, just laugh and chill !!
Brilliant but oh, so delightfully wicked of you, Minister :)

And just FYI? Saala Congressi means Conference room in Italian.
