Fortnite Season 10 is out!
Fortnite Season 10 launched today. Here are the updates you must keep an eye on!
For those of you who aren’t clued in, Fortnite is the world’s coolest, most widely played battle Royale. Season 10 of the game releases today, and with it comes huge changes, updates and upgrades to the game that will keep players hooked. From map changes, to the new BRUTE mech suit, almost everything is different, and more importantly - brand new.
First, let’s dive into the BRUTE. The BRUTE is a mech suit piloted by 2 players - this essentially means that while one person shoots, the other person mans the getaway. While the biggest advantage of the BRUTE comes while using it as a duo, the suit can also be operated by a single player, if you have the skills to switch between shooting and hauling butt.
Second, we’ve all noticed the Zero Point orb hovering over Loot Lake. Trailers leading up to the release of season 10 has suggested that the orb will explode, and it looks like it has! As a result of the explosion, Rift Zones and locations from the past are making appearances on the Fortnite map once again. What does this mean? It looks like we can drop by Dusty Depot once again!
Third, the Battle Pass is revamped, with missions that now include multi-objective missions and huge new Battle Star rewards.
For those who are hard core players and prefer playing in Creative Mode, there are some cosmetic changes as well! The Advanced Storm Controller is now available, and pre-fabs have been released for Risky Reels. Oh, and by the way? The Battle Pass also has huge pay offs that come in the form of cosmetic rewards we can use in Creative Mode.
Also as an addition to Creative Mode, we can now use Junkyard Juke and Sky Station Showdown.
As always, there are a whole bunch of new missions, and game systems as well. Save the World has had a massive update, and we can’t wait to go check it out. Plus, Save the World now has a new Locker feature, so we can use anything from customised loading screens to music packs from Battle Royale in the horde mode.
Now coming in deeper to the Missions in Battle Pass. Essentially, when you enter a mission, you have to complete a bunch of theme based objectives, and if you succeed, you’re rewarded with XP, Battle Stars, and the afore mentioned cosmetic prizes.
As for the changes in the map - Rift Zones are the bomb! Rift Zones are basically tears in the space-time continuum that brings back once-lost spots on the map. Dusty Depot has already made an appearance, and we expect many more. Here’s the best part - something has drastically changed these nostalgic spots, making the game inherently different.
As soon as Season 10 is released, we also expect Week 1 Challenges to come out. So in conclusion, we say - Good luck, and we’ll see you in the Zone.
