Fashionista: A day at the beach
Summer is officially here! It’s time for long lazy days at the beach or lounging beside the pool all day. Unless you have to work, of course, in which case that’s what your weekends are for. Take it from me. You want this outfit.
I absolutely adore this entire look; it is sweetly pretty and makes a stylish statement. Whether you wear it poolside or on the beach, you’re bound to stand out.
The Zimmermann corsair shoulder ruffle floral bikini set retails for around $295 and features a sweetheart neckline with ruffles. But if you don’t feel like shelling out almost three hundred dollars on a bikini set, you could go for this adorable version instead. The jungle print halter ruffle top is teamed with high-waisted bottoms and retails on Shein for a pocket-friendly 1267 rupees.
The woven straw hat in the picture is from Patricia Underwood and costs about $95. However, I’m a huge fan of this elegant floppy straw hat that is foldable and that retails on Club Factory for just 266 rupees. Because it’s foldable it can be tucked into a beach tote or bag and carted around easily.
The colour block straw tote in the picture is from Cesca and retails for around $29. That’s not too bad for a tote that features two-tone colour blocking (very in) and faux leather handles; this is a tote that would work just as easily for errand runs as it would on the beach. But you need this rattan woven cross body tote bag in your life, not only because of its chic look, but also because it is circular. Talk about standing out. It will only set you back 2741 rupees.
The checked scrunchie to keep your hair in place retails for around 2 pounds on Forever 21. I like this soft feminine floral version that retails on Amazon India for around 269 rupees.
The flower thong sandals with the gold tops are from BlueFly and retail for $70. I love rose gold, though, which is why I love these knotted slides with braided midsoles that retail for an affordable 1000 rupees on Ajio. If you’re not a fan of rose gold, worry not; the slides also come in gold.
If you’ve got a belly button piercing you’d like to highlight, you can opt for this 14 karat gold belly ring from JC Penney that retails for $299. But look at this piece from Club Factory that features rhinestones (sparkles); it’s a belly button ring as well as a waist chain. Plus it can be yours for as little as 216 rupees.
The gold hoop earrings in the picture are from True Facet and retail for a whopping $3000. But if you’re okay with gold-plated instead you can’t go wrong with these delightful heart-shaped hoop earrings that retail for only 412 rupees on FlipKart.
Cost of look: 3790 dollars
Steal the style for just 6171 rupees.
