Delhi launches campaign for pothole-free PWD roads
Arvind Kejriwal said that fifty ruling AAP legislators, each accompanied by an engineer, will inspect 25 km of road strech in their respective areas.
Delhi government launched a campaign on Saturday to locate roads with potholes and repair them immediately. The Public Works Department (PWD) aims to free 1260 kms of roads it manages of potholes.
Arvind Kejriwal in a series of tweets said that it was the first time the government will be carrying out a road inspection of such a big scale.
"No more potholes in Delhi. PWD will use an app to locate potholes and repair immediately caused by rains and wear and tear," he tweeted.

ऐप के जरिए गड्ढे या अन्य खराबी की फोटो और लोकेशन रिकॉर्ड होगी और हर खराबी को तुरंत ठीक कर दिया जाएगा।
The Chief Minister said that fifty ruling AAP legislators, each accompanied by an engineer, will inspect 25 km of road strech in their respective areas.
Kejriwal had announced the launch of the city-wide exercise on Tuesday.
"It will be like physical audit of PWD's roads and we will have complete information about the current condition of city's roads." he said.
Kejriwal said that drive aims to eliminate problems civilians face due to bad roads after the rains.

But the drive only focuses at repairing the roads that Delhi PWD manages.
The inspectors will click the photographs of potholes they find and upload it to a special software developed by the PWD, for quick action.
