Once a prime hub where all the political parties used to buy various publicity materials, Sadar Bazaar is now plagued by forces that it does not understand.
“Where is the bazaar that sells election campaign materials?” we asked a fancy store shopkeeper. He gave as a weird look. “You are standing at Sadar Bazaar. This whole lane is filled with such shops,” the shopkeeper told us. Ideally, we should have been happy, but we had walked up and down the entire lane three times yet we could see only a handful of shops that sold election materials.
