In a bid to help people keep their spirits up in the times of coronavirus lockdowns around the globe, musicians like John Legend and Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin are taking to social media to perform their songs for anyone tuning into their live streams.
As people across the globe are practicing social distancing, Chris Martin on Monday announced that he would be performing some music for anyone wanting to tune in via an Instagram live stream. Martin said he and his bandmates are stuck in different countries and can't get together to play.

Following Chris Martin’s move, John Legend praised him on Twitter and decided to follow suit with a live stream of his own. Legend is going to play on his Instagram account and one can tune in live or watch later.

So far, the novel coronavirus has infected more than 182,400 people and killed over 7,100 worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University in the US.
