Scientists develop artificial leaf that can 'mimic' photosynthesis

The new invention can absorb more carbon dioxide than its natural counterparts.
Researchers from the University of Illinois in Chicago have created an artificial leaf that can mimic photosynthesis in a lab. The new leaf is said to be 10 times more efficient in absorbing carbon dioxide than natural leaves.
